Retiro stay when your busing away!

During our Argentina travels, Buenos Aires served as a hub when traveling to Uruguay and Puerto Iguazu. We stayed in Retiro for one night as a layover between the ferry and heading north to Puerto Iguazu via the bus terminal. We stayed <here> for $67 per night. A bit expensive but it was conveniently located within walking distance to both the ferry and bus terminal, saving us cab fare.

We were met by Maria’s father. He welcomed us warmly and gave us a quick tour of the place outlining the features. The apartment is exactly as pictured. It’s exceptionally clean (which makes up for how dated it is). The maid/housekeeper does an amazing time maintaining the apartment. The towels were the fluffiest and cleanest that we’ve experienced in our time in South America. The apartment also has a washing machine and HD TV which both were greatly appreciated. Its location is perfect if you’re looking to take the ferry or go to the bus terminal. Nice spot for a night or two but probably wouldn’t recommend for long-term stays due to Retiro being a little dangerous late at night.
