Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Bianca were recently discovered honeymooning in southern Utah’s desert at the prestigious five-star Amangiri Resort. Ye, 45, recently and unexpectedly married Biana Censori, 27, the “Head of Architecture” for his sneaker and clothing brand Yeezy. Together, the couple kicked off their marriage sparing no expense—nightly room rates range from $3,300 up to $6,400.
Located in southern Utah, just a few miles from the Utah-Arizona border, the upscale Amangiri Resort sits on 600 gorgeous acres and is positioned between Grand Canyon National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument—the setting is stunning.
Moreover, the secluded and intimate resort, run by the Aman Group, features 34 suites, 10 massive canvas-topped pavilion tents, and one four-bedroom Mesa home. Personally, the closest we’ve come to one of these most elite and private hotels was the Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro.
Side Note: Is the Amangiri too expensive for your next vacation? Try Trivago: a service comparing the best prices on hotels nearby. You’ll enjoy the same views as the elite but at a significantly lower price.
Two extremely popular features that tourists enjoy visiting in the area include Horseshoe Bend and touring Lower Antelope Canyon with a Navajo Guide.
To reach this area the fastest, the closest major airport is in Saint George, UT (SGU).
Suites
Amangiri’s 34 suites occupy two elegant wings, which span each side of the resort’s main lobby.
All suites feature king-size beds, fireplaces, and a private courtyard entrance and terrace.
Pavilion Tents
Claiming to provide a “back-to-the-wild” experience, Camp Sarika is comprised of 10 canvas-topped pavilion tents which are basically small homes.
Only a short distance from the main resort, each tent features dramatic views, spacious accommodations, and a private plunge pool.
Camp Sarika’s other highlights include an exquisite pool area, restaurant, and shared lounge.
Mesa Home
Providing VIP guests with the utmost privacy, the four-bedroom Mesa Home is concealed from the main resort behind a massive formation.
Designed to blend into the landscape, the Mesa Home features a relaxed-muted palette, a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a chef’s kitchen, a 50-foot infinity pool, and private terraces, and can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Amangiri Resort
Aman Group’s luxury resorts have become a haven for the rich and famous, and Amangiri is no exception. Its otherworldly landscapes, eye-catching architecture, and exclusivity make it a highly sought-after vacation destination.
Amangiri is a place where the elite can escape from the busyness, distraction, and noise of everyday life. Moreover, it’s a place to reconnect with nature and adventure.
Excursions
With eight miles of on-property hiking trails and an abundance of excursions, guests are encouraged to explore the area in the ideal way that suits them.
To guarantee a fulfilling and adventurous experience, options include everything from cultural insights to canyoneering.
However, many guests enjoy partaking in the Ferrata routes, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, and boating in Wahweap Bay.
Two of the most popular excursions in the area are the Private White Pocket Vermilion Tour and Private Buckskin Gulch Tour. Both tours are open to guests and nonguests of the property.
Dining
Combining American Southwest and Navajo-inspired dishes, the dining experience at Amangiri is in itself an adventure.
For exceptional moments, Amangiri will arrange private-dining stages anywhere on the resort or nearby locations.
Wellness
The 25,000-square-foot Aman Spa is the highlight for guests seeking out complete rejuvenation and wellness.
Furthermore, many of the treatments are inspired by ancient Navajo healing philosophies—focusing on earth, wind, fire, and water.
Events
From weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays, to family reunions, Amangiri is the perfect place to celebrate life’s milestones.
Four exceptional onsite locations to entertain include:
- Main Dining Room & Patio: The resort’s main restaurant can seat up to 76 guests.
- Fireside Pavilion: An open-air venue next to the pool which accommodates up to 4o guests.
- The Chinle Site: A pavilion that sits up to 35 guests surrounded by towering canyons.
- Saddle Landing: Scenic location offering panoramic views.
