Virtual Travel Guide: Plitvice Lakes National Park

Trust us. Plitvice (PLEET-veet-seh) Lakes National Park is one of Europe’s hidden gems. We visited during March when prices are 3x LESS (than during the peak season) and crowds are at an epic low. Our admission fee was only $8 per person. The price includes access to all of the hiking trails, a boat ride on Lake Kozjak, and a panoramic train ride that picks you up at the finish line and takes you back to the starting point. After doing almost no research and just “showing up,” the beauty of the park blew us away. It was totally unexpected. Continue reading Virtual Travel Guide: Plitvice Lakes National Park

Travel Guide for Finding Pure Italy

For a few weeks now, I’ve been reflecting on our time in Italy. It was a 30 day, whirlwind trip that took us overland from Naples all the way to Villa Opicina. It’s hard to write about a country so many have traveled through and hold dear to their hearts. Many find magic in Italy, maybe in a romantic honeymoon or those exploring their Italian roots. Italy is often the country of choice for many first trips to Europe. Continue reading Travel Guide for Finding Pure Italy
